Cobey Hendren is Blue Star’s Compliance/Operations Director and the work he does here at Blue Star is critical not only for us but the tribal nations we serve. Cobey leverages his 20 years of experience in the insurance, disaster restoration, and real estate industry throughout the United States. He is data driven and is adept at managing cross-functional teams and creating efficiencies to achieve organizational goals.
In building Desert Dry Restoration/Service Master by Desert Dry a successful business in disaster recovery, his company has helped residential and business owners prepare disciplined plans in emergency preparation, security and recovery operations in the event of mold, asbestos, structural damage, fire, and water resulting from a disaster among other services related to biohazards. Cobey’s disaster restoration company worked around the clock for residential and commercial property owners in quickly defusing emergency situations and dispatching teams of professionals to assist.
His experience includes working for two well-known insurance companies-The Hartford, known as a leader and widely known for sustainability practices, trust and integrity and American Family Insurance, in the business for more than 90 years and builds its reputation on sound principles. Throughout his career with The Hartford and American Family Insurance he used his knowledge to support important clients and stakeholders. Policies, investigations, valuations, comprehensive reporting, negotiating and complex problem solving are a few of the competencies and professionalism , managing multiple projects at once, proficiency in risk management, strategic planning and conflict resolution illustrated each of Coby’s most potent abilities.
Cobey’s portfolio further includes his real estate businesses today, managing and owning single-family and multi-family homes and properties in Arizona and across the United States.
